We need the Lord, in good times, and in sorrowful times, so stand up and raise your hands up to Him.
I remember I was about 15 or 16 when I wrote this song. I woke up one morning, and started penning this down. There is not special inspiration to where this came from - probably something God decided to give me that very morning. :)
I have always wanted to write an anthem - something that everyone will be able to join in together and sing as one big family of God. something where we can raise our hands and smile as we give praises to the One who gave us the lives we live, the air we breathe.
Written many many years ago, this remains one of my favorite “growing up” song because it signifies hope, and it signifies the never-ending love of God.
The road is narrow and can be tough but we need to remember who it is that carries our load. Jesus!
